Perennial Gardener


Landscape Foreman

Your responsibility will be to take a project from the sales department and make it happen! Your job will be to pre-plan, layout, install and finalize landscape projects. You will also be communicating with our clients, and as a result, a professional image is required.

Following is a partial list of the types of work that you would perform to create our beautiful landscapes:

  • Planting and Lawn Installation
  • Grading,
  • Drainage,
  • Erosion Control

We will consider candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds, but you should have a minimum of one-year construction management experience.

All candidates are required to be self-motivated; solution oriented and have a positive attitude. You will need strong organizational, communication and management skills. Specifically, you will need the skills and experience required to read and implement projects from blueprints; supervise, schedule, train and manage your crew; work independently to meet project deadlines; and communicate with clients.

Perennial Gardener

Your responsibility as Perennial Gardner will be to manage and maintain the perennial gardens and shrubs for our discriminating clientele. Duties will include selecting, planting, and maintaining extensive perennial gardens throughout Fairfield and Litchfield County. Work hours are flexible and can be built around your summer schedule. On certain projects, you will be working in conjunction with our installation teams to create the ‘ideal' landscape…

All candidates are required to be self-motivated; solution oriented and have a positive attitude. In depth knowledge of perennials, annuals and ornamental shrubs is required…. Certification as a Master Gardener, with the NYBG or other horticulture training programs is a plus.

We are open to a full flex schedule. Your gardening work can be tailored around your summer activities, with varied start times and days worked.
