Our community is a large condominium complex of 366 homes with driveways, a large clubhouse and parking lot, sidewalks and seven miles of roads. Hoffman and their crew are diligent and courteous. They do a great job of clearing the roads, driveways, and sidewalks. Regardless of the amount of snow they clear the entire complex every time. They come back and check for returning ice after a storm and in the spring repair any damaged Belgium blocks, grass areas etc.Regency utilizes many service providers year-round and Mike Hoffman and his team are one provider that we never worry about and never have to check on for their quality of work.

We used Hoffman for a major design and build project at our weekend home in CT which involved very challenging conditions as our home is built on a heavily-wooded ledge. We had a very positive experience with Hoffman.The first phase involved a comprehensive property design which was relatively affordable. We were blown away by the creativity and "can do" attitude. Our designer Brian Cossari really understood our objectives and our aesthetic and translated it into a plan. He listened and included the features that we requested but also added some very slick elements that we would never have dreamed up on our own. We weren't able to afford all aspects of the master plan and Brian was patient in doing a second and third cuts of the scope and budget.In terms of execution, they started the project one week before the promised date and kept us informed of the status reasonably well. They made several scope changes on the fly, when we requested. This process required a properly-documented change order and there were no surprises when we received invoices. They finished a week late for understandable reasons (we added to scope and they hit an unexpected amount of rock when digging the pool). Overall, we had to be pleased with the time table on which they completed the work.They handled permitting, inspections and town relations for us on a hassle-free basis. Much better than we've seen in the past with other firms.The quality of the people working day to day and materials used was very high. Some of their hardscapers are artisans in their own right. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work done and would recommend Hoffman without misgiving.

I hired Hoffman Landscapes recently to revamp my landscaping around my property, including planting new shrubs, trees, and perennials. Mike Walker listened to my concerns, and his recommendations were completely on point as I wanted something low maintenance, deer resistant, and visually appealing. Mike and Matt (Motill) were responsive with my questions on how to care for the plants and any concerns I had, even after the planting was complete. We worked with Bob Doerflinger to design an extension of our driveway including stonework and landscaping. Bob was great to deal with, very pleasant, responsive and professional. He worked well with the town to get the necessary approvals. I would use him/Hoffman again.
Last fall I called Hoffman to discuss building a vegetable garden and refreshing some of the landscaping at my new home. One of their designers, Rick King, came out and spent over an hour walking the property with me and discussing my vision, budget, and time frame. His expertise was immediately apparent and his laid back demeanor put me at ease. He taught me a lot about the plantings on my property and how to care for them myself. Within a week I had comprehensive proposals broken out by bed for my entire property so I could easily pick and choose what I wanted to do and when. Rick even came back out to review the proposals in person and show my wife and I pictures of the plantings he had selected.I reconnected with Rick in March and they just installed a beautiful and functional vegetable garden which we are very pleased with. The crew got it installed in a day and a half and were a pleasure to work with. Darrick, the foreman, was onsite multiple times each day and extremely communicative. The guys doing the work were warm and friendly and tolerated my 4 year old helping them truck soil and mulch down with his toy wheel barrow. I even caught them cleaning up and organizing his toys as they packed up their gear at the end of the day.I'm very happy I chose Hoffman and have no problem recommending them, I look forward to working with them again soon.

We recently used Hoffman Landscapes for a pool renovation and patio. The project was a lot more involved than anyone originally thought, due to structural issues in the pool. Hoffman worked hard to address the issues and complete the project to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. Bob Doerflinger, the project manager, was extremely responsive when we had questions relating to the project, and he resolved issues in a timely manner, which was very important to us given the scope of the project.
